The spa town of Marienbad is a dream place - beautifully situated with great old buildings nice cafes and a beautiful park you can hardly get enough of it. Beautiful forests surround the town - worth a trip!

It’s very difficult for me to evaluate Marianske Lazne: - 10 years ago I was in “Svoboda” in the winter, I fell and seriously hurt my arm and leg; then I was in “Butterfly” (also in winter, I really liked the winter landscape)) - I was seriously poisoned in the hotel. I switched to Karlovy Vary, I love them, but due to illnesses, Marianske Lazne is more suitable for me - I went now at the end of April, and, well, it was winter again with a huge amount of snow and cold, but unusual and beautiful! I brought a bunch of photos! There is such a peculiar magnetism in Marianske Lazne!

A small spa town with its own charm. Little by little, the place is shining in new splendor. If you are looking for peace and quiet and less hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. I find it a bit annoying that when you pay a tourist tax of around €2 per day and person, the public toilets cost extra. That is unnecessary and I don't think it is tourist-friendly.

Marienbad is a great spa town. It's a bit hilly, but it has lots of beautiful parks. This also means that the town seems relaxed and not overrun by tourism.
